How to Request Deletion of Your Data

You can request deletion of your personal data at any time using one of the methods below. We will verify your identity and delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days of a verified request, unless we must retain certain information to comply with legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or security obligations.

1. By Email: Send an email to myart@jeanyveshector.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” from the email address associated with your account. Please include your full name and any relevant details (e.g., user ID, order ID) to help us locate your data.
2. Via Web Form (optional): Submit a request at /privacy/delete (if available). You’ll receive a confirmation email to verify ownership before we proceed.

What we delete: account profile data (name, email), OAuth identifiers (e.g., Google/Facebook/Apple IDs), profile photo, and app-generated content associated with your account.

What we may retain: limited records necessary to meet legal or regulatory requirements (e.g., transaction/tax records) and minimal security/fraud logs. Where retention is required, we will store only what is necessary and for no longer than required by law (typically up to 7 years for financial records). Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis, and deleted data will disappear from backups within 30 days.

Facebook/Meta Data Deletion Instructions

If you signed in with Facebook (Meta), you can also revoke the app’s future access from your Facebook account:

1. Open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites (Logged in with Facebook).
2. Select the “Jean Yves Hector” app and choose Remove to revoke permissions.
3. For deletion of data previously received from Facebook, submit a Data Deletion Request using one of the methods above and mention that you used Facebook Login.
